Red Eclipse is based on Tesseract and Cube Engine 2, both of which are covered under the ZLIB license, you may use the source code so long as you obey this license.

Red Eclipse does not accept content which has usage restrictions beyond "BY" (By, give credit) and "SA" (Share-alike, share derivative works).

In the absence of an explicit license, content is considered to be covered by the CC-BY-SA license, either version 3.0 or (at your option) any later version, and you may use the content in Red Eclipse so long as you obey individual licensing criteria.
