New here so I'd thought I'd show off my GNOME desktop.

8Bit -
is gnome working fine in your computer ? mine just install latest release recently and got login error
RE: GNOME - bill-auger - almost 4 years ago -
GNOME can be used on parabola - presumably all of the
screenshots in this forum section were made on a parabola system
GNOME is not the easiest DE for a privacy-respecting distro to
support though - it has issues, especially when the [nonprism]
repo is enabled
if you need help, you can ask on the IRC, or the mailing list,
or the "trouble-shooting" section of the forum - there may be
some advice on the bug tracker - perhaps one of these tickets:
https://labs.parabola.nu/issues/2042
https://labs.parabola.nu/issues/2128
if you think you found a bug that is not mentioned on the bug
tracker, feel free to open a new bug report

thanks for the info
just discover that enabling nonprism repo will make a login problem to gnome
yes, im suspect it is related to geoclue package being removed

It was yes. No issues. Nice and smooth. Gnome 3.36 is a good update. I have gone back to my DWM now though. I always install the newest Gnome just to see how its going. Still largely unusable for me but getting better.

that is a contradiction isnt it? - it works without issues; but
is unusable for you? - maybe you meant it is "unsuitable"? like
you do not prefer it - telur only wants to know if it actually
works for anyonw
