This tells me that there is some attempt to encrypt your drive. Someone else may be able to confirm this, but the last time I tried (a couple of years ago), the Calamares installer of Parabola was not able to handle this. I would refer you to: https://labs.parabola.nu/issues/1685#note-7 for a manual encryption procedure (skip the AMD stuff), after which, you can use the non-graphical (non-Calamares; terminal-based) installation.

Yes, I did manage to install it without using encryption.
I'll look into trying to install it manually. Should I open an issue about this as well, or just leave it on the forum?

I really don't know. I made a bug report about something like this some years ago. I think that they are already aware that Calamares is not really working for encrypted systems, but I don't know what is best.
