make: error while loading shared libraries: libffi.so.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I cannot run many programs and I do not know why.

guile
guile: error while loading shared libraries: libffi.so.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I have installed latest icu, icu-compat, libffi, I have libffi 8, but not 7.

Now it works. I have resolved it by doing pacman -Syu and overriding the files for hwdata installation. Though all the consequences of the process gave me uncertainties.
