"Inconsistency detected by ld.so: ../sysdeps/x86_64/dl-machine.h" after upgrade
jkjk2000 - about 4 years ago -
I'm on Parabola Systemd 64 bit. Just upgraded. It upgraded some systemd stuff (and maybe some other things with it). Also installed epdfview and evince (although I doubt they are responsible because I removed them and the problem is still there).
When rebooted, running startx is showing this error:
... Inconsistency detected by ld.so: ../sysdeps/x86_64/dl-machine.h: 541: elf_machine_rela_relative: Assertion `ELFW(R_TYPE) (reloc->r_info) == R_X86_64_RELATIVE' failed!
I was running Budgie desktop. But tried with JWM - it didn't change a thing. So I'm suspecting systemd upgrades. I was running low on space so cleared cache, so no copy of older packages on cache.
Is there any way to solve this?

UPDATE:
The issue was solved after a full system upgrade I did today.
It got some new updates of systemd packages and everything is fine now.
