I cannot add an IMAP account in Icedove.

I cannot add an IMAP account in Icedove. In the welcome screen, there is a "Set up an account:" line. Under that line, there is a clickable "Email" text. But nothing happens, when I click on "Email".

There is already an active bug report about this. Not sure why there hasn't been any movement.

Could be that with updates in the pipes it's planned to be fixed there. Not Sure.

I couldn't install Thunderbird by the command:
# pacman -Syu thunderbird
I looked for graphical e-mail clients at
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/List_of_applications#Graphical_4 .
Evolution looked familiar, so I installed it with
# pacman -Syu evolution
.

Icedove is a libreated thunderbird. thunderbird is bllacklisted.
Also you might want to looks at
claws-mail
or sylpheed
