Cannot run rstudio
Naturgemalde - almost 3 years ago -
Hi everybory,
I'm new user of Parabola Linux and trying to configure my system to that new distro, but I'm facing a problem when I try run rstudio-desktop.
I get the same error of shared library as described here [[https://labs.parabola.nu/issues/2649]], because boost-libs package installed is newer than that required by rstudio-desktop package avaialable on pcr repository.
How can solve this problem to get rstudio run in my system?
Thank you for your attention.

the simplest thing you could try for now, is to build the package from abslibre using makepkg

Thank you for your reply. I'll see about abslibre and continue this discussion on the bug report page. I created a new post because I was afraid to "necro-bump" that report.
RE: Cannot run rstudio - bill-auger - almost 3 years ago -
most projects do not care about "necro-bumping" - that term is
usually referring to a forum, where its not possible to "close"
the ticket
if there is an open bug report on a bug tracker, then it is
definitely still open for comments - it does not matter how old
the bug report is - if it is still open, then it is still a
valid bug, and bumping the ticket is a very good idea
