In OpenRC there are some some permissions problems with certain things like connections and bluetooth having to be run by admin.
The current suggestion for OpenRC to run NetworkManager as a non-root user is to install a ConsoleKit and the only place I know how to do that is the ConsoleKit packages off the AUR.
Parabola does not support the AUR and as a result users must break this rule just to simply get permissions working on OpenRC, or just run nm-applet as root which is probably a bad security function. Unless, of course, I have been using OpenRC wrong and the Wiki is out of date.
Please add it to the repos and fix this problem, thanks.
