If added, it would certainly also need to be blocked by your-privacy
on behalf of [nonprism]
users.
The fact that it is useless without Google Hangouts puts it on similar grounds to Firefox Hello, or many libre videogame emulators for which no libre games exist; and I think the community consensus on those matters is that a user may simply want to install, study and even run such programs in a way that doesn't imply going for the bad stuff such programs are primarily intended to fulfill. (Think of someone using this Yakyak thingie offline, for the sake of exploring its user interface or something).
That said, YakYak depends on electron, which in turn embeds Chromium as was pointed out today by someone on #parabola. electron
is going away as part of the great Chromium/QtWebEngine purge, so there's no point in considering adding a package that hard-depends on it.
