Description

I just spent way too much time tracking down a bug in roundup (the sh-roundup package), the test runner used in libretools. Your test framework is just about the last place where you want to have to deal with bugs.

While I hate choosing things just because they are popular, I expect that shUnit2 and BATS are more battle-tested.

Since writing this issue, upstream dbscripts switched from shUnit2 to BATS.

Working with BATS in dbscripts: I'm reasonably happy with BATS. I think migrating from roundup to BATS would be reasonably straight-forward.

There's now a lukeshu/bats branch where I'm working on migrating the test suite to BATS.
