currently if you boot the talking ISO the installer will sit silently at the boot menu indefinitely - this seems not very user-friendly for a blind person as the speech synthesizer is not activated until after the system is fully booted into a shell

this is the same behavior as the talking-arch installer so maybe this would be better as an upstream issue? does parabola use the same bootloader and installer as arch?
