Bug #138
speech-dispatcher: uses 100% CPU after a random amount of time
0%
Description
I'm not sure if this is even a Parabola issue, as I've heard about it happening on other distributions. Basically, after using any program with speech-dispatcher for any long period of time, after a while, speech-dispatcher will stop working and will start using up almost all of the CPU. The only program that I use that basically requires speech-dispatcher is a version of Mumble from AUR that enables speech-dispatcher support, as the text-to-speech can be extremely useful for me. I could just go back to the standard version for now, but this is a feature that I really like having whenever it works.
Hopefully a little bit more useful information, I looked at dmesg after speech-dispatcher had stopped working and found this:[ 6127.688905] sd_espeak[899]: segfault at 7f5fdc040000 ip 00007f5ff005ba30 sp 00007f5febbf1b78 error 4 in libc-2.15.so[7f5feff35000+197000]

speech-dispatcher is a package from Archlinux, I think that is necessary that you report it to Arch Linux Bugs website
