Description

Since a few days ago, Running clementine 1.3.1-9.parabola1 almost instantly causes my display to disappear, revealing the TTY behind it, but with no errors or keyboard input ability, forcing me to hold the power button on my laptop. Running midori or qutebrowser for a few minutes, or messing vigorously with VLC video effects causes the same result. Expected behavior: clementine creates a new window with a graphics interface, including a list of tracks from a podcast I added to it when it was working.

I was able to safely confirm just now that the issue hasn't been resolved by recent updates by switching to a secondary TTY, checking the pid of xinit, running startx, checking that there were two xinit pids, then running clementine, and switching back to TTY1, waiting a few seconds, then confirming that there was only one xinit TTY. TL;DR: I can do it without bricking the session by switching to another tty before it happens, and the error completely kills xinit.

Can anybody reproduce this issue? I'd like to be able to run lightweight browsers and clementine. Sometimes I'm tired of Iceweasel eating my cpu.
