this is a core dependency for openrc
base-openrc -> base-meta -> pcmciautils
$ pacman -Si pcmciautils
error: package 'pcmciautils' was not found

it was obsoleted by arch on the grounds that it is "ancient technology"

there is also a mkinitcpio build hook for this - i suppose we need to package this now

ok the archlinux32 team says they will pick it back up
there is still probably a bug to report here though; because the package website still has the entries

It's 404 now, I think that was just the thing where parabolaweb wasn't updating.
