runit-scripts is built from https://gitlab.com/Megver83/runit-scripts and if you read https://gitlab.com/Megver83/runit-scripts#how-to-use-it you'll see "To enable and start a service into the "current" runlevel:" it clearly says:

# ln -s /etc/runit/sv/<service> /run/runit/service

I forked it from Artix, which was forked from Void. No matter the origin, I don't believe that using /etc/runit/sv instead of /etc/sv is a big deal.

However, if you or someone else wants to use /etc/sv, please send me a patch (or wait for me to do it) that I can apply to my gitlab repo and then package it.
