Migration from Arch on wandboard-quad won't boot

Description

after following the migration instructions from wiki.parabola.nu/Migration_from_Arch_ARM , uboot does not boot into parabola.

uboot will continue trying to broadcast past this point. I tried renaming vmlinuz-linux-libre to vmlinuz-linux-libre-4.18.<whatever the /lib/modules said> but that did not work either.
