Here's evolution on i686:

$ pacman -sS evolution
extra/evolution 3.28.5-1.0 (gnome-extra) [installed]
[...]
$ evolution --help
evolution: error while loading shared libraries: libprotobuf.so.16: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Whereas on on x86_64 I have:

$ pacman -sS evolution
extra/evolution 3.30.1-1 (gnome-extra) [installed]
    Manage your email, contacts and schedule
$ evolution --help
Usage:
  evolution [OPTION…] — The Evolution PIM and Email Client
