The arduino-1:1.8.7-1 build fails to start showing the following message,
$ arduino

There is also th issue that arduino now exists in both PCR and Community [neither works]

I'll try rebuilding the one in PCR to see if we can get a working copy of this,

The PCR version is ancient.
and should probably be scrapped now that this in in Community.
libremakepkg'ing the Version that is in Community results in the same error.
I'll try arduino in my arch linux VM and see if it works there or not.

for any bug in an arch package, if the bug can be replicated in arch, then we should file a bug report against the arch package and mark the issue status "forwarded upstream"
this BR is superseded by another against arduino 1:1.8.8-1 - reported upstream
