[hexchat]: Alert that blinks the tray icon stops erroneously

Description

Setup

I'm running Hexchat version 2.14.2.r9.ged553301-1.parabola1 and I have checked Blink tray icon on to Private Message, I have also unchecked Open a new tab when you receive a private message.

Problem

When I get a private message the tray icon blinks and it stops blinking when I focus the main window.

Expected behaviour

The tray icon should not stop blinking if there are private messages waiting to be focused.

Steps to reproduce

  • Open Hexchat.
  • Go Settings -> Preferences.
  • Go Channel switcher.
  • Check Open a new tab when you receive a private message.
  • Go Alerts.
  • Check Blink tray icon on to Private Message.
  • Click OK.
  • Connect to a server.
  • Receive a private message in a new window while Hexchat is not focused.
  • Focus the main window.
