Description

Is it possible that the kernel symbol files, System.map and Module.symvers, could be installed somewhere with the linux-libre package? These files can be helpful if a user wants to compile a kernel module without re-compiling the whole kernel. For example, when investigating problems with kernel modules, such as this one:

They are available in all headers packages (linux-libre-headers, linux-libre-lts-headers, linux-libre-pck-headers, etc) at /usr/lib/modules/$(uname -r)/build
