what would i need to do or which command would i need to run in order to see that for myself?

It is from package nonprism/iceweasel-hardened-preferences:
iceweasel-no-resource-uri-leak (virtual) (optional) - Deny resource:// access to Web content (Important)

looks like that package was removed as obsolete back in 2017

Looks like he just forget to remove the optional depend

according to abslibre this was removed

but according to the repo linter, it is still in the system

The dependency is still listed in nonprism/iceweasel-hardened-preferences
