IANAL but I like 99% sure this falls well with-in "fair use" exceptions.

no way, that is encouraging people to mutate their beatles into a lossy format - now that should be a crime - i suggest we should patch '.ogg' to '.flac'

Why not just patch the song? May be Free Software Song, for example.
