- https://www.parabola.nu/packages/community/x86_64/arm-none-eabi-gdb/
- https://www.parabola.nu/packages/community/x86_64/arm-none-eabi-newlib/
- https://www.parabola.nu/packages/libre/x86_64/arm-linux-gnueabi-gcc/
- https://www.parabola.nu/packages/libre/x86_64/arm-linux-gnueabi-binutils/
- https://www.parabola.nu/packages/libre/x86_64/sh-elf-newlib/
would these be suitable replacements for building 'linux-libre-firmware'? - could we remove those three packages from libre? - or are they significantly different?

Just realized this issue was reported 6 months ago
They are all different cross compilers, which are needed to build some firmware from linux-libre-firmware
the INSTALL file mentions the ARM cross compilers, the others are downloaded and built by some scripts in linux-libre, which are replaced so everything is built with Parabola's cross compilers completely offline (there's no need to pass -N to libremakepkg) which helps to save the time which is taken to build them
I'm closing this since it's just a misunderstand
