0%
Description
Bluetooth with ath9k driver don't work. After "Enable Bluetooth" in blueman-progs a tray-icon hide and any blueman progs don't see bluetooth adapter, bluetoothctl also too don't see adapter all time.
#sudo rmmod btusb
#sudo modprobe btusb
don't fix this, restart bluetooth.service and blueman-mechanism.service too.
I'm really need a bluetooth. Help me please.

are you sure that the hardware is supported by ath9k ? what does

Did some searching on "0489:e04e" and bluetooth. Lotsa folks having trouble with this one. Looks like the bluetooth side needs proprietary firmware.

- Status changed from unconfirmed to not-a-bug
- Subject changed from ath9k bluetooth to [ath9k]: Foxconn / Hon Hai wifi works but not bluetooth
if freemor's conclusion is correct ,then there is no "problem" exactly - you are experiencing the expected behavior of trying to use hardware that require proprietary firmware with a 100% libre OS - i can think of at last three "solutions" though:
A) buy a new one
B) keep the one you have; but do not use bluetooth
C) remove 'your-freedom' and use the proprietary blob
though, we do not recommend 'C' and can not support it - we consider that to be a concession rather tan a solution

Now "$rkill list" dont show bluetooth in list.
Last update removed support bluetooth from my hardware?

Did you reboot after the update?
I only ask because he have had other times where people would say "Updating broke my X..." Only to find out they hadn't rebooted and that the system was in a irregular state (trying to load the old versions of kernel modules and not finding them, etc.)

Yes, after update also reload btusb module and bluetooth.service.
Now i have no bluetooth in rfkill.
