Deleted files on desktop

Description
Sometimes when I run Tor Browser from my Desktop I see temporary files. They are removed immediately, but I see them.
They disappear when I go to "Desktop" directory and refresh it.

Tor borwser is not a Parabola package.
Seeing stale files on the Desktop is quite common on some DEs if Refreshing the desktop clears the since deleted files then I'd call that normal behaviour.
Sounds like you installed Tor browser in a way that is throwing things on the desktop instead of some saner location. Maybe re-check how you installed/are using it.

many such self-contained binary programs will install .desktop
files on first run - they dont have a proper
installer/uninstaller; so it is not possible for that program to
know when it gets deleted - one must clean up those orphaned
files manually
