Description

Hello! I installed dbeaver a while ago, and wondered if it was completely free, since it has a non-free enterprise edition and also supports a lot of commercial databases. Today, I noticed it might probably endorse non-free database drivers, since I can't seem to find the source code for some of them, such as for IBM DB2 (com.ibm.db2) and Oracle Database (com.oracle.database.jdbc). DBeaver offers to download and install them when you want to establish a connection to a specific DBMS.

I'm not sure whether DBeaver contains non-free components by default; but as far as I know, it doesn't. Still, you might want to check out which plugins are non-free so you can either patch dbeaver in order to remove them from the list, or blacklist dbeaver entirely along with its plugins included on the Arch repos (dbeaver-plugin-*).
