This could probably be a known but harmless error, see #2151.
Otherwise: Can you provide a minimal working example to test the misbehaviour?
Updated by maddox about 1 year ago
I have quoted what I have seen. Sadly I cannot debug myself why is that happening or taking place. That appears to be package maintainer responsibility.
If I get any package under my responsibility I would make sure to make it workable.

- Parent task set to #972
- Status changed from unconfirmed to info needed
- Description updated (diff)
- Subject changed from texlive-most: error: command failed to execute correctly to [texlive-most]: error: command failed to execute correctly
this is probably just more of the apparently inconsequential noise, which texlive has always produced, and users have been complaining about for as long
maddox - are you volunteering? - texlive is due for a freedom review - there has been an open call for volunteers for some time #972 - there may no longer be any reason to handle it - if the texlive arch packages can be shown to be FSDG-fit, that would be the ideal outcome

I am volunteering, but the page is long and I can help if somebody is to give me specific assignments.

first thing to do would be to determine whether the installed tex distribution is capable of typesetting a standard tex example to pdf. your issue description above doesn't show if the package is actually broken or not, just that there are known errors during installation.
