[kodi] version check failed

Description
This is the warning i received when i start Kodi for the first time (version check failed). Apparently this also leads to failure of some addons (like youtube) to be installed successfully. The bug is persistent in the older version of kodi (15.1) as well, but thankfully it is not existing in the Arch's version of Kodi

It seems that once Kodi receives a proper settings, the issue disappear. That means that in order to reproduce the bug, you should delete the ~/.kodi folder first

Addons from Arch's version works well because uses addons.xml from Kodi source, but since it contains nonfree stuff, we solve it using a custom one made by us without them [0]. Also addons.xml updates every time because there are new addons, new features, etc, then we should update our custom addons.xml every time too to keep it always synced.
Another way could be creating a addons database inside repo to solve this issue.

Now, the latest version [0] contains its own repo with all official 100% libre addons [1]
