Description

Pleas modify the kernel configuration for the Intel GMA500.

The poulsbo stub driver conflicts with the driver , so disable it

CONFIG_STUB_POULSBO=n

Then enable the gma500_gfx driver. Can be built as a module.

You might wish to enable the other drivers as well (I think there is a gma600_gfx).

See this bug report for a longer discussion https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/899244

This has been reported to kernel.org, but until there is an upstream fix, downstream kernel config is up to you.

This was discussed with Emulatorman on IRC earlier today.

Thank you.

i have some problems when configured GMA600 and GMA3600 in module option, because those option sopport only disable and enable option because are sub-options from GMA5/600 KMS Framebuffer that is as module option, so i think that you don't have problems with them. Only disabled CONFIG_STUB_POULSBO.
