It is a duplacate from https://labs.parabola.nu/issues/139 due that the locales from debian contains google as default search engine, so, when you create a new profile on iceweasel-libre with a locale language included, it generate a conflict and doesn't create the database on chromeappsstore.sqlite due that issue. If you create a profile in iceweasel without locales, it works correctly. I think that we should to compile the locales with the same patches than iceweasel-libre.

I think that I found a issue inside the libre patch, i will check it!

I found some issues on libre.patch and i'm putting the configurations in browserconfig.properties to support search engine from about:home for all locales with ddg html support. It will be solved in some minutes...

I'm testing the new package, the issue doesn't seems fixed.

I uploaded iceweasel-libre-17.0.1.1-1 and fixes problems with portuguese-brazilian, spanish and main locale without locales (en_US). I tested a corrupted profile with this package version and were resolved those problems. Even creating new profile with additional locales (portuguese and spanish), it works perfectly. It was tested in 6 machines. However, GuestOne has problems with italian locale yet. So, I think that it is related with some locales that generates conflicts with iceweasel-libre package.

Problem related to italian locale is a problem about that locale, not iceweasel-libre package, because it works perfectly with other locales. So, it should be reported as other problem.
