Description

Look; I love Parabola. But it always locks up on me, at an annoyingly high rate! (When WINDOZE freezes less, you know there's a problem...).

The lockups vary from soft lockups, hard lockups, to even GPU lockups!

Some attached files for various logs! (These are all from journalctl - I picked out a few because I didn't want to put my whole systemd journal on here! And also, the call stack was generally the same for each lockup. I'd be glad to put more logs...also, for some reason I couldn't find my hard lockups logged in journalctl...but I know they happen.

I had a similar GPU lockup, but it was the result of running into a bug in Blender. Do these lockups occur randomly, or are they reproducible?

If you can determine which program(s) is causing the lockup that will help triage this issue. You may also want to try linux-libre-lts and linux-libre-testing kernels to see if an older or newer kernel makes a difference for you.

The thing is, it occurs randomly. It even occurs overnight when the computer is unused. The system works fine otherwise - even under high stress. I'll try the linux-libre-lts kernel and see if it makes a difference. Since this often occurs at least once a day, the difference should be notable.

Used linux-libre-lts, still locks up just as bad. And still randomly - this time it happened when I left my desktop on overnight. Nobody was using it.
