Bug #1041
ryzomdata-update.sh
0%
Description
There seems to be a bug in the update script for ryzom. I get the following message:
rsync: failed to connect to www.ryzom.com (178.33.44.72): Connection refused (111)
rsync error: error in socket IO (code 10) at clientserver.c(125) [Receiver=3.1.2]
Downgrading to rsync-3.1.1 produces the same issue.

They are moving towards non-free SteamOS integration and switched to a "Client Patcher" model, so the updater script you are attempting to use is more or less depreciated now.
There are unofficial binary builds mentioned on their "Mutual GNU / Linux" support forum with the new patcher and client program.
If you are able to help test, try building these two packages and report if you have any errors...

Due to limitations with my current ISP I am unable to download the sources which are nearly 3GB in size.
If the above PKGBUILD works we can remove the old ryzom-hg from PCR and update to the new one.
