[systemd][mate]: ISO default theme is broken

the default theme 'Parabola' seems to be missing some definitions compared to the previous 2016-11 edition - see screen-shot

here is one possible cause - it looks like the mate desktop went through a major over-haul going from the version in the previous ISO (1.16.1) to this one (1.18.0)
according to the release notes http://mate-desktop.org/blog/2017-03-13-mate-1-18-released/
The entire MATE Desktop suite of applications and components is now GTK3+ only!
this could explain any missing definitions - the definition of the default theme is /root/.themes/Parabola/index.theme

another possibility is that like #1340 perhaps there is a patch missing from this ISO
the following patch is the parent commit of the missing patch mentioned in #1340 and look like it deals with the theme

to be clear, only the Live environment is affected - a fully installed mate system does not exhibit this
