- Assignee set to ovruni
please be more detailed, this issue lacks of important info like:
- Init system: OpenRC, right? I deduce this due to the error message
- ISO used: I cannot guess it
- The way you installed the system: cannot deduce it either, but I'm sure you didn't used the LXDE OpenRC install scripts, because those do not have that issue
- Post installation or LiveCD system? in which case it was post-installation this should not be in "Installation Media" since its a problem of dbus in OpenRC on the installed system, not the ISO live system itself
- dbus package: dbus or dbus-elogind?
to solve the dbus issue, do:
- pacman -S dbus-elogind # groupadd -r -g 81 # useradd -r -u 81 -g 81 -s /sbin/nologin dbus # rc-service dbus start
and you are done. We must fix the post-install hook in dbus-elogind, due to this, I'll assign this issue to ovruni meanwhile

yep openrc is my init, edit: had to add groupadd to the commands and it worked. nvm
also, dbus-elogind I used cli from a lxde install openrc iso for FDE reasons...

Thank you, I do have two more issues of minor consequence,
startx permissions and if its an issue, the same for wifi... that's about it.

actually, should I make a seperate issue for those last two issues...?

if they are errors then yes, you should open a new issue - if they are just questions like: "how do I ...?" then it would be better discussed on the mailing list or IRC

I bricked my libreboot grub area, so if you wish, you may close this for now, when I opened an account before, "zapper"
I discovered I kept dropping to a shell because of something stupid I did, which I knew little of, I might have not done everything I needed, Although, I am not sure what happened this time so yeah...
