Description

When I install a fresh XFCE Parabola GNU/Linux system I am always presented with a terminal font that is cramped so much it is hard to read.

Install Parabola and xfce4 then launch a terminal in XFCE.

Installed xfce4 in a VM. terminal fonts look fine (1280x800)

Is yout system configured correctly?
What further information can you provide?

The three systems are pacstrap installed with xfce4, xorg and xf86-video-ati added as additional packages. I get the same results in each of them.

I'll note that I get this issue on fresh installs too, installing ttf-dejavu fixes it.

Please try christians suggestion of installing: ttf-dejavu

When reporting display issues it is always best to mention monitor/video card/drivers in the initial bug report.

In what is installed you do not mention: libva-intel-driver or mesa
Both of which is important for video acceleration. please make sure that they are installed.
Doing so may also help with #1930
