also, possibly related to https://lists.parabola.nu/pipermail/dev/2019-November/007520.html - which would indicate, that 'blueman' just needs a re-build against the new python

blueman is a [community] package which means that it's for the Arch maintainer to rebuild.
Can the OP please make sure they are up-to-date and check if this issue still exists.
Don't want to forward upstream if the maintainer rebuilt in in the last day or so.

Starts without issues on v2.2.4. It looks like the issue was fixed on rebuild back then too
