Possibly change this to a freedom issue and add the package to the blacklist, as this is related to issue #1167 (Depends on webengine)

Within CMakeLists.txt it states the following:

find_package(Qt5WebEngineWidgets    REQUIRED)

Please, do not hijack other people's posts. I seem to remember that there is a pot where all qt-webengine issues are posted. What you are reporting is not related to what maddox reported, but to something else (qt-webengine).

Apologies for that then. I was trying to figure out the issue and realized that it relied on qt-webengine so I thought I would mention it here. I'll open up a new ticket in the future then if I find something else that's not directly related to the issue.

yes that missing symbol probably had nothing to do with webengine - it was also 4 months ago; so it is very likely that the problem no longer exists

i think Zuss was only trying to be helpful, by bringing attention to tickets which have gone stale

i think what nona was suggesting is not to mix topics of one ticket - this one is definitely describing a 'bug', not a 'freedom-issue'

marble-maps does not need to be on the blacklist; because the webengine dependency is via marble-common; which is replaced in libre (#2117)
