Bug #3251
[fonts-meta]: unsatisfiable dependencies
0%
Description
What's odd is that I also had to atrempt to manually upgrade the package to get this error, because pacman -Syu
reports no issues and doesn't bother to upgrade the package.

Fix for the terminus-font-otb
issue: remove line 49 of the PKGBUILD
because the package no longer exists.
Fix for the bdf-unifont
issue: package it for all architectures, not just i686
.

- Subject changed from [fonts-meta] can't upgrade package due to unsatisfiable terminus-font-otb dependency to [fonts-meta]: unsatisfiable dependencies
gap -
you are probably misunderstanding what pacman is telling you -
the 'fonts-meta' package has not changed since 2020 - if you had
that package installed already, then you would also have it's
'terminus-font-otb' dependency installed, and pacman would not
be complaining about it
im fairly certain that you would only see the error that kabo
posted, if you did not have 'fonts-meta' installed, and were
installing it for the first time
in any case, the conflict exists - i will just change the BR title
