Description

iceweasel 1:33.0.deb2-1 uses icu v.53. it needs to be recompiled against icu v.54.

I think it's much clear if download (source in PKGBUILD) is directly from the upstream (debian), not parabola..

Iceweasel is being built from Parabola because Debian upstream contains nonfree OpenH264 plugin provided by Cisco Systems. Parabola's packages should be built from source tarball without nonfree stuff.

It's not true: the files that you remove are free (source code under MPL 2.0 or CC0, license text). There is no need to remove them.

The only nonfree binary involved here is the OpenH264 blob that it downloads. We need it to not recommend that blob in the visible UI and not install it (unless the user explicitly decides to install it), not make Parabola harder to use/maintain by repackaging free sources. (I believe the blob is completely useless when we have gstreamer with a free implementation of H264.)
