Description

When browsing packages on https://www.parabola.nu/packages, I have never gotten any "download from mirror" links to work. For every package I've tried, I get a "404 Not Found" error with this message in the browser window: "The requested URL /parabola/libre/os/x86_64/foo.pkg.tar.xz was not found on this server."

The issue is that if a package is newer than the mirror's lastsync, the mirror obviously won't have it.

Now, parabolaweb already knows the package update timestamp, and each of the mirrors lastsync timestamps. So, it "should" intelligently rule out the ones that are too old. Of course, that's more programming.

And repomirror.parabola.nu already implements that logic.

So, a simpler solution would be to have parabolaweb always direct you to repomirror, which then handles the mirror selection.

this seems to be working properly now - maybe this issue has been fixed and forgotten to be closed?
