Description

I have two applications that are failing to remember things like window size or border positions across launches. One is Hexchat that cannot remember where I pull the border that seperate channel chat from userlist. The other one is Gajim that won't remember the size of the main chat window.

local/hexchat 2.14.2-1.parabola1
A popular and easy to use graphical IRC (chat) client, without
nonfree browser reference

local/gajim 1.1.0-1
Full featured and easy to use XMPP (Jabber) client

I'm running on 64-bit arch.

I've tried to get in touch with tech support but failed for several days.

I tested gajim before and it had trouble staying the same size between restarts. When I check now, it seems to remember window size except when it is unmaximized and pulled out to cover the entire space, on restarting the program it is maximized again.
