Freedom Issue #3530: Repo Sync Happened without Filtering!
[linux] Linux-libre already exist
100%
Description
The linux
packages alongside the headers package are there in the Parabola repo, when linux-libre already exists and complies to the GNU FSDG.
Unfortunately, the linux-libre package is outdated and there's no sign of being updated compared to the vanilla version.

just wondering, why is that seen as unfortunate? - why not use
linux-libre-vanilla and ignore that linux-libre is a little bit older? - is
linux-libre different enough that anyone would notice?
one of the reasons linux-libre-vanilla exists is because it is easy to upgrade,
and so can be upgraded more often, even by the user - so far, each upgrade has
been as simple as bumping the pkgver - linux-libre does not have that advantage
i think linux-libre-vanilla should replace linux-libre, and maybe even do the
same for linux-libre-lts - then only the custom kernels would need special
attention
