Description

https://wiki.parabola.nu/Repositories

ArchWiki has its wikipage "Official repositories", and they don't use the title "Repositories", so the title including "official" should be used in ParabolaWiki.

History

Updated by theova about 5 years ago

I tried to merge them. Please see my draft https://wiki.parabola.nu/User:Theova/Draft/Repositories.
The content is mostly finished. I have one open question about [java], see https://wiki.parabola.nu/User_talk:Theova/Draft/Repositories.

When the draft is proofreaded and accepted, I propose to move it to Repositories as it does not contain only official repositories. Furthermore, Repositories is translated in more languages than Official Repositories is.

what do you mean by "it does not contain only official repositories" - like which?

As I megred the two articles, the new article mentions [unmaintained], Unofficial User Repositories (eg. ~lukeshu) and the AUR.
See https://wiki.parabola.nu/User:Theova/Draft/Repositories#Unsupported_Repositories.

I spotted an other article with the same (but not <include>d) content: https://wiki.parabola.nu/Parabola_Presentation#Repositories

i think that is the slide-show for the talk that emulatorman gave a few years ago - its really not the sort of thing that should be on a wiki - it should have been a PDF or libreoffice slide-show, something like that - it probably should be archived in a more convenient form like that and remove from the wiki

I have merged the two pages. This issue can be closed.
