Description

There is some sort of bug surrounding the gnome-settings-daemon.nonprism package and the ability to start gnome or GDM. I am wanting to be able to have the your-privacy package, which involves removing geoclue2, and reinstaling various nonprism equalivents such as the gnome-settings-daemon (to, I assume, not rely on geoclue2). However, whenever this replacement occurs, it causes X to prematurely interrupt with fatal errors regarding color setting management and XFkeyboard issues.

many of the [nonprism] packages are out-dated - that is one possible issue

That is what I suspected. Should I consider the prism repo to be mostly unmaintained, then?
